The historic brand Faber-Castell, a leader in writing, studying and office products, began its career back in 1761 (unofficially long before that). The master Kaspar Faber of Stein, an artisan from humble origins within the Marquisate of Ansbach, began working on behalf of local merchants, but during his free time, he devoted himself to produces his own pencils. It soon became so good to start his own business and open his own workshop. From these humble origins began the story of one of the most famous companies in the world.
Today Faber-Castell Group has more than 7000 employees worldwide, operating in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia, with a network distribution present in over 120 countries worldwide. But that's not all. The company has always been known for its overall commitment to the values of social responsibility. In the words of Count A.W. von Faber-Castell (Chairman of the Group Faber-Castell), "The Social Charter signed in 2000 prohibits any social discrimination, child labor and protect our employees from any kind of exploitation. The commitments we made with the International Organization of Labor Organization (ILO) is for me nothing more than normative standard every business owner should follow in his organization."
Faber-Castell relies on NUR Internet Marketing to increase its online presence and visibility through Search, Display & Video campaigns, and with targeted landing page, aimed to consolidate the promotion and the online distribution of new product lines and initiatives launched by the Group. NUR also is dealing with the online visibility of the Italian website through targeted positioning project on search engines.
